[SOLVED] For some reason I can't have my sound to be used by the monitor speakers.

Hello everyone,
I have a Samsung qled 27' curved 144hz c27fg7x monitor and it's connected to my gaming PC via DVI which has Nvidia 2080 super, I'm trying to use my monitor speakers to use the sound and I can't get it to run, I tried running it using my second monitor which is connected via HDMI and still same issue it I can hear the sound via headset, then when I make the monitor audio as default I can't hear anything, I'm using windows 10, is there a solution for that I've been looking for a solution and nothing so far, anyone can help? much appreciated!

Have you tried disabling other speakers? You could also try reinstalling Nvidia sound drivers.

Do I have to disable them? and I can try reinstalling it but I doubt it's the issue, would you like a screenshot of my audio setup? as in settings wise

I did but it didn't work.

Does monitor have an HDMI input? If so connect using HDMI, In sound control panel select HDMI as sound output.
HDMI cable will pass sound.

@Mtop is on the right track. I would note that DVI does not natively carry audio. Does your graphics card have the usual audio input connection that connects to your motherboard (or is my info outdated)?
