Forgotten password Windows 8

Hello, I have problem with my laptop. There is Win8 on it, so it requires password on startup. I had to reinstall the whole Win some time ago. I had to create an account on on again with password, so I selected the same password, which I had before. Everything went good, bud now, when I turned it on and typed the password, it says, that its wrong. I am sure, that I wrote it correctly with caps lock off and num lock on- there were only small letters and one number.

I tried the guide for forgotten password from Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-password-reset-disk#1TC=windows-7

I created the password reset disc, but when I tried to reset the password on the laptot, an error popped up, something like: An error encountered, when reseting password.

Is there any other solution for this problem? Thanks.

Sorry, there is no help for you here. Tom's Hardware strictly prohibits discussions on bypassing system security protocols.

when booting press f8 and the choose safe boot with command prompt next just type "net user Administrator /active:yes

if the command completed and succesfully type "shutdown -r" to restart your pc . then after the system restart u can login with the default administrator and change ur password...
