My specs are:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
AMD Athlon II X3 440
4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz
LG Monitor 20EN43 (1600x900@60Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 5670
It's not the best rig but it's what I have. I notice my fps drops in huge battles especially in Siege in Shanghai and Hainan Resort.
I don't have problems with other maps, just those. There are fps drops but not much.
I'm thinking my graphics card is the culprit or maybe it's the network quality. Where I live we're still using copper lines and soon to be upgraded to fiber connection.
The drop is sometimes unbearable and I get 8-12 fps in Hainan Resort and Siege of Shanghai depending on the server I'm in.
I run Battlefield 4 all on low, at 1400x900 plus a user.cfg file tweak. My ping is 100 lowest 150 highest.
I'm planning to buy a GTX 660 if my graphics card needs upgrading, but I have to be sure maybe the problem is with the network quality. What do you think?
