[SOLVED] FPS Drops and Stutters on i5 6600k

Hi,
So I cant get rid of fps drops. I mainly play fortnite and rocket league so i would like to have constant 144hz while playing these games. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Cpu i5 6600k
Mbo Gigabyte H170M-D3H-CF
Ram 16gb 2133Mhz
500gb ssd

Which monitor model do you have?
What's the low, high and average FPS?
How big are the FPS drops?
If you don't pay attention to the FPS, do you notice any issues during game play?

The 6600K has but 4 threads with but four cores; it is likely NOT the ideal chosen CPU candidate for 144 Hz refresh gaming.....( far from it)

(6600K was widely considered 'not enough' even at it's launch, as was the 7600K)
