A friend and I are going to the Micro Center to get him a GPU today. He wants to get a GTX 960 and has a 430w. The problem? His PSU only has one 6-pin power connector. The full size GTX 960's require an 8-pin power connector. Only the mini-ITX one's require a 6-pin. But I'm worried that the mini-ITX 960's won't be good for cooling with one fan.
So can the 8-pin 960's run on one 6-pin connector?
If not, is there a way to convert a 6-pin connector to an 8-pin?
