Front panel usb upgrade?

Hello,
I am building (first time-Yikes!) a computer for my mother. Very simple but fast for web browsing. The case I chose has USB ports on front panel. The MOBO has 3.0 capability (BIOSTAR|TA880GU3+) Is there any way I can upgrade the front 2.0 ports to 3.0?

Not without replacing the existing port hdwr and cables. However, you can plug the 2.0 ports into either the 2.0 or 3.0 sockets on the board. 3.0 is backward compatible with 2.0

However, if you need front panel USB 3.0 accessability, you can always add a controller panel in an unused drive bay.

USB 3.0 may be faster but I doubt it would be worth your time upgrading the usb 2.0 to 3.0 just for your mom's web browsing lol. You're going to need buy if you don't have it yet a USB 3.0 compliant device.. So yeah.
