Fuller HDD = More Power Consumption?

Hey there! The question is simple... Will having a fuller HDD result in more power consumption, from, say, a battery? I have a ViewSonic Tablet PC V1100, and I'm filling up the hard drive pretty quickly, and I'm afraid that it'll cause the charge to more depleted, as it gets fuller.

What is will impact is how well the hard drive responds. Hard drives don't like being "full", which slows their response time down.
