Hi guys, so i have too choices an fx 6300 with a good mobo for overclockig and a god fan or a i5-4670k with a cheap mobo like Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2 and with stock fan.
I hate overclocking thats why i have an edge for i5 because i dont need to overclock there but i dont knw about the cheap mobo.
Please dont talk like a fanboy.
Thanks

What is your budget?

How about an I5 4430/4440 and a B85 or H87 chipset motherboard.
If you do not plan to overclock then the K-edition is pointless, so is an aftermarket cooler.

No matter how hard you overclock the 6300 FX, it can not really catch up to a decent i5 in all ways.

i heard that those are ow clocked and not good for gaming

I would strongly advise the i5 series, anything from i5 4430-4670 you will will be more than happy with your probs regret getting the fx over the i5 cpu.

well its not availble but this one is.. Intel Core i5-4570S is it good

the letter S donates its the low power version 65watt to be honest im not a grate fan of lower power versions normaly means less performance, if I was you I would probs look or wait for the non low power version example i5-4570 is normal 85watt , i5-4570/s is low power cpu 65watt. although saying that the performance difference between the /S and none S is probs not much.

OK thanks, i am going to wait and see

funny thing is im looking to upgrade my aging Phenom II x6 1090T based system for an Intel i5 4670 based system, lol but im finding it hard to let go of my trusty old AMD x6 PC, I've had it the best part of 3 years now, which is odd because i'd normaly upgrade my system every 6-9 months, now it just feels like part of the family, you know like granny just quietly sitting in the arm chair knitting to her harts content lol :/
