what can happen if i change the HT to 5x??? :idea:
instead of the 4x

and if i do what other setting do i need to change??? :idea:

My K8NF-9 runs fine at 5x HT with the F2 BIOS and is very stable. I think it
depends on the version of the nForce chipset you have.

Depends, some NF-9s can run 5x some can't. If yours, like mine, can't then
all sorts of fun things can happen.

Make sure you have a BIOS image ready to load from floppy disk, as mine
corrupted the BIOS and broke the disk allocation table - resulting in a
format & windows reinstall.

Mine did the same too.... doh! Dunno if it'll work better with the new bios
though.

It doesn't matter, there's no diference in speed at all, nowbody beside AMD
doesn't really know what is it for. If you don't bolive me there's is a
bunch of tests on the net and see it for your self !

well i turned it up

my VGA got hotter than usual and my chipset went hot as well

i did change the passive heat sink on the chip set
