OK, so I just built a system with some spares:

- Gigabyte GA-8IDML http://tinyurl.com/4se3t
- Intel Pentium IV 1.5GHz 400FSB
- 2x Kingston 256MB PC133 KVR133X64C3/256
- Gainward GeForce4 Ti4400 128MB
- Western Digital 80GB 8MB ATA100 WD800JB
- FSP 350W PSU
- Windows XP Pro

I opted not to use the Gainward drivers, and I've installed 66.93 instead.
I was under the impression that I could set the GPU/RAM speeds to those
promised by Gainward. I now understand how that might not be the case, so
what's the best way to get recent drivers with this facility?

Just download the Gainward Expertool. In Performance, before you use it,
check the little box that lets you use the full range of speeds. In the past
I've had it forget how to do those if I didn't check it first -- but with an
older version.

Just enable CoolBits through the registry to open up nVidia's own
overclocking panel. There are plenty of guides online on how to do it.
