Question Game Texture pop-in and rendering slow ?

Hi Guys,

Pretty long post, I'll try to keep it short.

I have a RTX 3060ti for the past few years. Never really had any issues with it. But recently, I noticed in my games that I previously had no issues, namely, Elite Dangerous and MGSV, having slow rendering and textures pop-in.

I tried switching out to my old GPU, a RTX 2060 super but still facing the same issue. The only things that I have considered is recently I changed my lan cable (even though that probably wouldn't be causing the problems)

And I have plugged out my DP cable from my GPU while the system is powered and might have damaged the DP cable. I will try switching DP cable tonight and maybe my monitor.

But any suggestions why I MIGHT be facing these issues recently? Anyone have the same problem?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You could try and use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually reinstall the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command(assuming you're working with Windows OS).

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
