Question Games keep crashing on new PC - no errors

Hi all, I've recently upgraded my PC completely with new parts. The only part that i transferred to my old build to my new one, is my NVIDIA FE 3080TI. I have never had this issue previously.

I am currently having frequent crashes when i launch games. For example, when i play PUBG, i am able to load in to the menu just fine with no issues at all. But majority of times, when i start loading into an actual player game/match, PUBG crashes outright and instantly. My PC doesn't freeze or anything like that, just the game. This doesnt happen everytime but majority of times. I am then able to reconnect into that same match with nil further issues (usually).

This also occurs when i play Cyberpunk 2077. With this, it is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes the game will crash instantly when attempting to start. Other times it will then crash as i load a save. Then some other times it lets me play the game, but when i go to the ingame "benchmark", it crashes again. During the bench mark, sometimes it crashes instantly, the other half it crashes at the end of the benchmark.

I am able to play Destiny 2 and Starfield with no crashes. I have tried some games via microsoft/xbox store and they crash instantly however.

Things i have done to try and fix:
- Reinstalled NVIDIA Drivers
- Intel CPU drivers + assistant
- Taking out ram sticks to test + also changing frequency/XMP
- Clean installing Windows
- Memtest (no errors)
- Windows file test (no errors)
- Changing GPU slots in the PSU
- PCIE Gen 3 to Gen 4 (no difference)
- Re installing games
- Checking CPU, RAM and GPU temp, clocks, power and load - (No spikes when crashing or any obvious cause)
- Limiting GPU speed, power and mem

My Specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i9 14900KF 24 Core LGA 1700 CPU Processor
CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB 360mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooling with LCD Display
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite X WIFI7 LGA1700 ATX
Ram: Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) CMH32GX5M2E6000C36W - Vengeance RGB 6000MHz CL36 DDR5 RAM
SSD/HDD: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB (boot) - NVME Seagate ZP2000GM30033
GPU: NVIDIA 3080TI FE
PSU: Corsair 1000W RM1000x 2021 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Chassis: NZXT H9 Elite Edition Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Monitor: KAMN32RQ1LA - 1440P 165hz

Thanks guys, i appreciate any helpful comments or suggestions.

Man I am in the same boat as you... even worse actually. The games I play are crashing consistently... Whats weird is that I have all of the same HW that WAS working and I can't really remember when but my games have just been progressively crashing more and more over time... Would that just be my 3070 Super going bad after 2 years??

I managed to figure out what it was for me, Intel Boost Technology. Once i disabled this i have no had a crash since. My only problem is now my CPU is running at 3200mhz rather than the advertised 5700. I don’t even know why this would be crashing it as i can do everything else while staying at the max turbo freq, except play games. I’ve messaged Intel and they believe it’s a faulty processor. I might bite the bullet and return it

its not a gpu issue. its a 13th gen intel cpu issue. you have to underclock it by a few hundred mhz. Test it. just set it to 5.2 ghz max and games will run again with no issues

Btw the issue is not with the intel cpus... my system was running fine until some update
