Question Games will freeze on a frame and continue to run. Random black screen flashes.

Hello,

I'm running into an issue after getting a new GPU. After installation I clean booted Windows and installed everything I could think of driver wise.

I have an issue where anything using the GPU will cause screen flickers. Watching videos on a Firefox browser will cause the browser to go white and eventually come back up. And the worst of it as that all games (Even very simple games like BTD6) will freeze. The game will at random usually within the first 30 seconds freeze on a frame. The game is still running and I have full control of the character, audio is working. I can Alt+Tab with no issue and my computer is still fully functional. I've tried NVIDIA forums with no luck in finding a solution. Trying to avoid taking my machine in for a week.

what kind of GPU did you have before you upgraded?

Yes, 1605 MHz.

Did you use DDU before you installed you drivers for your Nvidia card? Left over files from the AMD drivers might be causing these problems.
