Putting this shall help the readers too:

In general, for latest titles (eg., BF4, FC3, Crysis3, etc), the graphics quality (settings) usually is:

Tier one cards shall max out with comfortable FPS.

Tier two cards shall be able to play with the following settings with comfortable FPS:

class one: ultra-maxed out
Class two: High-ultra
Class three: High

Tier three cards shall be able to play to play with the following settings with decent FPS:

Class One: High
Class two: Medium-high
Class three: Medium-high, but mostly medium for comfortable FPS

Tier four cards shall be able to play to play with the following settings with decent FPS:

Class one: Medium
Class two: Low-medium
Class three and four: Mostly low but may manage medium

Tier five cards should manage running the games on low settings, may even require lowering the resolution.

NOTES:

All the settings are for FullHD (1080p) resolution, with low to moderate anti-alising settings. High textures preferably.

By comfortable, we here mean 50+ average FPS, decent refers to 40+ average. 60+ is usually excellent and 30+ is usually the least you'd want. Multiplayer is better with more FPS.

Putting anti alising (AA, FXAA, MSAA, etc) on maximum usually takes a heavy toll on FPS/ graphic settings. Texture loading is also subject to VRAM size in some games.

Some latest games may run at higher settings than mentioned, as they vary in coding, base (some are CPU intensive), requirements and may even prefer one arcitecture over another. The above predictment is keeping in mind the most intensive titles, like BF4 and Crysis3.
 
Sadly,it is. But it would help people who would maybe start panicking if their card hit 70 C while gaming thinking that their card will be toast if it went any higher. Would certainly reduce the number of people asking whether they should replace their card as it may be faulty while that is certainly not the case.
 
That's a good idea however many manufacturers will have a variety of temperatures. For example, EVGA could be 5°C hotter than Asus.

But I will still contemplate on that. And maybe I could average the temperatures by different manufacturers and see the result.
 
You can put the minimum temp you found and write from which manufacturer it is. Same dor the maximum temp.
For example(just an example,dont hate me if these temps are not right 😀 )
GTX 970 (Gigabyte-75°C ; stock Zotac-80°C)
You can also put blue for the lowest and red for the highest temp.

(EXAMPLES!! 😀 )
 
Or,if you think that listing OEM card temps is too much of a hassle,you could just list the reference card temps. At least that would give the buyer a fair idea of what temps to expect.
 
Also, I think that you should take the prices into account as not many people will buy the Titan Z for their gaming build. Even though GTX 970 SLI might be a bit weaker than the Titan Z, the 3000$ price tag simply isn't worth it.
 
havent read through all the comments, but should the gtx 670 and 760 be listed in the same tier and class? From what i've read when i was buying a gtx 760 there was only a very small difference in performance, give or take 3%?
 


+1 690 and 7990 are same class.

GTX 760 and 670 should be the same clase, very close in performance.
