I heard some where if you use 9X use Fat, not that you have a choice, and use NTFS with NT OSs. In short NTFS is a more secure format, also uses less disk space and I believe will support larger drives. Seems most members are with the NTFS, must be paranoid or something, lol. Yeah, NTFS is really secure and if you’re not careful you might hide your important info from yourself.
For gaming though, FATS is supposed to be quicker, maybe not much, if at all some might say. But myself I like FAT32 over NTFS, and also because I have a dual boot I’m able to share files with either OS. I like FAT, and have no problem with FAT, if under different circumstance I may choice NTFS, say like for business or to have more control over programs user could use.
