[SOLVED] Gaming on a HP 4K Z27 Dispaly - Bad Idea?

I'm currently exploring some options for a new monitor. I'm a creative and work quite a lot in Photoshop, Illustrator, Light room, etc. On the other hand I also do a little gaming on my free time. I just built my first PC and picked up Gears 5. It has opened my eyes to how much better gaming on a PC than a console.

I was going to pick up the HP 4k Z27 monitor (~$500). This is a 60hz IPS monitor; but this monitor does not have freesync or g-sync compatibility (I'm running a rtx 2060 super). I am curious if I would have issues gaming with this display? Is it worth getting a 144hz display instead?

I guess I have something particular in mind I am looking for, if anyone has suggestions for a good all around monitor I can create/edit creative content on and comfortably play games I am all ears.

What I'm looking for:
Price range: $400-$550 ($600 tops)
IPS Display
4K or QHD
27"- 34"
Height adjustable
No curved display - not ideal for content creation
Open to ultrawide displays - but not my 1st choice

I'd recommend going for 1440p 144hz display over the 4k 60 hz I haven't owned a 144hz display before
but the day my dad got one he noticed a huge difference so did I
you will also save a lot of money and get that free sync or gsync most likely

Thank you! I appreciate you sharing that. I am definitely going to go with a 1440p 144hz panel. Because I work on creative content, I do want it to be IPS as well.

It has come down to these 3 displays:

1. Asus TUF VG27AQ - I love this panel. My only gripe is the bezel w/ the button logos - this kills me. I am also not a fan of the red ring on the base, but with a little vinyl wrap that is an easy fix (just me being picky).

2. Aorus AD27QD - Only reason I am considering this is because it has that clean bezeless design, unlike the Asus Tuf. On the other hand, I hate the RGB on the back and on the stand. Way over kill and unnecessary.

3. Pixio PX7 Prime - This is almost ideal. I just wish it had some of those extra features the Asus Tuf and Aorus offer, but it is clean and simple design like the HP Z27 I originally wanted.
