It has an upgrade path, pretty strong gaming performance for 1080p 60hz. I'd prob try stretch to 16gbs of ram if budget allowed, but still a very capable gaming machine. With just a GPU/ram upgrade in a year and then a CPU upgrade a year after that, your still gonna have a very capable machine.
