Gaming + ram

I was going to buy about 8 gigs of ram for a little rig I was going to build in the near future.
Companies like to toss the words "gaming grade" in on their products. Is there actually a difference when companies say that? Because normally it will say that then have all the same features as others.

I agree with sosofm, but you should all ways compare the specs for what you want to do. If gaming then maybe you want higher frequency. Also you say "little gaming rig." Do you mean inexpensive, or a micro build? If micro, low profile RAM sticks would be a good idea, especially for certain aftermarket CPU fans (GeminII S for example). Lots of good articles on this forum, and certainly more knowledgeable individuals than I, but those are things I would keep in mind.
