Gaming Righ + Power supply

Hello ,

Am a new user of this site as you can see , seeking some advice from the community which I plan to be with for a long time. I will introduce you my rig followed by the question to see if i truly need to buy the power supply or keep my old one.

RIG:

600T corsair special edition white case
i5 core 2500k
p8z68-V Pro
SSD : Crucial 64 GIG at 415 meg read speeds
HDD: black caviar WD 7200 RPM 750 GB
H70 Corsair
8 gigs of HYPER X KINGSTON
evga gtx560 TI FPB SLI
X4 ULTRA fully modular 600 watt power supply

MY QUESTION: will my 600 watt power suppl be enough for all that hardware or will i need to get a 850 watt to hold all my right together

I'd say that even a new 600W wouldn't be enough for that build so an old one definitely wouldn't, i'd suggest a good quality 750W for that.

Edit Yowsa, I missed that you've got a PAIR of GPUs in your build. Oops. Yeah, you want a quality 650W PSU for it then.

I read somewhere that Overclocked CPU + 2 overclocked 560TI's in SLI = 596W

So while the 600W might run it, i wouldn't be comfortable with anything less than a 750W.

That is some nice hardware, do yourself a favor and don't cheap out on the most important component of the entire build.
