Hi,

I'm currently playing GK1 (and enjoying it a lot), and am in day 3. I
got stuck, so I consulted the Uhs-Hints and...

they say that I should compare the scale I have with a scale from
that fortune-teller's veil. Well, I've already given that back to
her, and got my reading (and more) so now she's gone. Have I reached
a dead end so I have to replay from the beginning?

There are no dead-ends in the game, but there is a lot of optional
action. If you miss the chance to perform an action, you miss out on
points, and possibly some subsequent events. But you are not prevented
from continuing.

In the version of GK1 that I played around 1992, there
where plenty of dead-ends.

For instance, if you forgot to put the tracking device
into the coffin, then there was no way of completing the
game.

Thanks. I hope it's true despite what Woeginger said below *without*
spoiler warning where spoiler warning should be (grr!). I'll continue
to ponder what my next move shall be instead of replay from the
beginning.
