Gateway/Foxconn MB with Phenom II?

Hello,

I recently was donated some pc parts, a Foxconn Bengal RS780 motherboard and a AMD Phenom II 965 X4 black edition. The specs from Gateway only show support for the Phenom cpu. I can not find any bios update or info that might allow me to use this MB.
Does anyon have knowledge or experience with this mothrboard working with the Phenom II? Thanks

1. Get the latest bios to support cpus @ http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/search.asp?st=pn&param=4006272R

2. Read this thread on which ones do work, just use a 95watt cpu @ http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/575287.aspx

OK Thanks for the suggestions, I figured the worst case I would sell the Foxconn MB and buy an ASUS AM3 board withe the DDR3. But I will try the links first.
