I hope they come down in price from what will likely be $400 USD (streetprice). When Doom 3 comes out I will have to have the best and I hope the best doesn't cost $400!

I only have nVidia's press release of Feb 8 to go on. It said Geforce4 Ti cards (didn't say which models) will be available in 30 days (from the above date).

I think you are going to have to wait. nVidia doesn't even have the 4200 in their product lineup yet.

nVidia has the Ti4400, Ti4600, MX420, MX440, and MX460 listed but not the Ti4200. See below.

I can't believe people are breaking 10000 pts in 3DMark2001. My two systems score <3000! Time to spend the tax return! (assuming Sam gives me something back)

My K6-2 system scored less than 1000, more like 700. That's why its only used for TV in a window while browsing these days.

When my GF3 died, I did have to use the 2mb cirrus logic on my 1.2Ghz 512DDr T-Bird system. Then I got a Quadro DCC, and that replaced the cirrus logic. I an now happily scoring over 7k in 3d mark 2k1

Well, got a good new and a couple of not so good - it is my primary system, but now makes about 1700 and the videocard is the next thing to go out (the rest of the system is a slightly overclocked XP1700+ on a RAID Asus A7V266 E with a couple of 60BG GXPs and 512MB DDR CL2...)
