hi
a glass of coke got spilt on my laptop, we cleaned it up and had to buy a new hard drive, the laptop was cleared so is now completely blank. when we turn on the laptop we get a blank screen with a small curser in top left hand corner.
please could someone help with what it is that i am meant to be doing to set it all back up again.

Did you laptop come with a set of recovery disks?

it did but that was 3 years ago, and we lost alot of stuff when we moved home so we no longer have anything for it
