generally jammed !

ok first... games... when i play lineage 2, sof2, counter-strike source, my game is lagging badly. Sounds looping, graph too and freeze... Same in the realtime demo of ATI Animusic Pipedream Demo... freeze just after the drum part... sounds loop and all that stuff. Also, everytimes...my speakers are doing a little beep! everytime i try, its the same. My spec are :
amd 2500+ Barton 1833mhz with latest Nvidia drivers for Nforce2
Asus a7n8x mobo
1024ram DDR
120gig Western Digital
9800xt 256mb with latest catalyst
Audigy 2 ZS Platinum with latest Drivers


if you have solution, explanation or anything about that.. plz tell me ! thx

Update and run your anti-virus. Defrag that drive. If all else fails! Reinstall windows.

reinstalled windows a week ago... all new

ok... i tried it... i will see later this afternoon. What i tried is to add a case fan on the side... so i now have cpu fan, powersupplyfan, side fan, back fan... is it enough ?

take the side panel off of your case and run some games. see if you get the same problems, if they run fine then your problem is most likely a heat issue.

Definatly check your temps. Are you using that catalyst control center thing that is coming with the new ati drivers?
I'd stay away from that right now. Just get the regular drivers w/o it. I've tried it on several systems and they have all needed reformatting. That thing just generally hoses up they system, lol.
