Okay I suddenly started facing random blue screens while using my laptop (Lenovo y700-15isk) the blue screen I get comes with weird noises zapping and lines on the screen. Using blue screen view I find out ntoskrnl.exebis causing the error so I ran memory diagnostic tool but it showed no problem detected. I will attach the bsod picture below kindly help me fix this issue as my university is starting on 18 August 🙄
And yea I forgot to mention if I hit the laptop on keyboard once or twice it boots up fine and works okay for a few hours or a day.

the hardware error is just referring to a restart. its not a cause, its just a result. WIn 10 runs a report every startup and if it finds it wasn't shut down properly, it creates that event

ram can cause all sorts of weird errors to be reported in perfectly good drivers, so yeah, see how running with 1 stick helps
The new errors, 139 or the 0x50, related to the system memory or the driver(s) too. Try to remove one of the RAM, then test the computer to see what happens.

For the driver, try to boot into safe mode, test the laptop to see you will get that weird color or not.

Tried using one ram at a time doesn't works.

Try to use the laptop in safe mode to see what happens, if the laptop works fine in safe mode, and the problem related to the driver(s).
It ran fine in safe mode (as long i used it there)
Plus if i remove one ram of my laptop it works fine no bsod yet if i get it i am gonna test the other ram stick so lets see if rams the issue or not and i also used driver verifier but dont know how to decode its dump file

Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.

can you go to c/windows/minidump folder
copy contents from there to another folder
upload copies from there to a file sharing website and show a link here

you can run the built in test, its not as complete as memtest but its a start
right click start
choose run...
type mdsched.exe and press enter

2 options, restart now and check ram or run after next restart
its meant to show results on screen after the restart but if it doesn't, this page shows where to go to look at them

@ gardenman Thanks again to run the dump files.

OP, your laptop has big problem, you may need to buy the new one, because the RAM has problem, and the cpu has problem too. Check the dump #5, it shows your cpu has problem, and it may or may not cause the RAM error.

Ab man don't scare me like that.
Here's an update I got few drivers from manufacturers website and the laptop ran fine for 2 hours now its sleeping time so will resume tmrw and let u know the progress.
And yea the safe mode also runs just fine so I think it's a driver based error instead.

top bsod caused by Scarlet crush. its software used to run Playstation controllers - the newest version is from 2014 and it has been causing havoc this year. remove these and see if it helps

mssmbios.sys = Microsoft System Management BIOS Driver. Not a normal driver to have problems.
dwm.exe = windows desktop manager
These USB drivers are too old
Jul 03 2012 libusbK.sys Vendor Class WinUSB Compatible driver https://sourceforge.net/projects/libusbk/

See if any newer webcam drivers
Aug 31 2015 rtsuvc.sys Realtek UVC Webcam driver https://www.realtek.com/en/

Have you tried going here and pressing Automatic driver update
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/au/en/...ideapad-y-series-laptops/y700-15isk/downloads

You have latest bios (there is only one)

Sorry, I don't try to scare you, because the dump file shows that.

I don't know what drivers you did update, if you did the chipset driver, and maybe the MB's senor does not have the right driver so that it shows the error.
Hehe it's ok anyway
I just updated every single driver through device manager including chipsets so let's hope this fixes it will keep u updated.

can you go to settings/update & security/windows update
look in windows update history and click on the link for the update that keeps failing
copy the page link in here

You are on Win 10 1809, there is a newer version of win 10 available, that is possibly the update that isn't working. I guess we shall see

Update:
The pc got nfs. Sys error now and I got red lines whenever my pc battery reaches 0 and I have to boot it up after charging but pc resumes from the same state even tho red lines occur.
Edit: the laptop works fine after going through red lines that only occurs when my battery dies and I boot up laptop afterwards

when you get a bsod, give us the memory dump as they don't always show the same drivers running

I can't find anyone else who reports red lines with a low battery. Perhaps cin is right, you might need to get it looked at by a lenovo tech
