I've had my GTX 1080ti EVGA Hybrid FTW3 working fine for a few years.

I have it plugged to my LG C9 via hdmi and suddenly now when playing audio its a very harsh static sound.

Here's a video of it:

Using my intel iGPU has no problems with the same connection HDMI -> LG C9 tv.

Setup:
Windows 10 Pro 64bit, Version 20H2, Build 19042.330
Intel Core i7-8700k CPU
32GB Gskill Tridents
EVGA 850 G3 PSU

I have tried the following
  1. Uninstall Nvidia drivers with DDU
  2. Replug PCI and Power cables to the GPU
  3. Disable IGPU setting in BIOS and set to PEG, This always resets back to AUTO
  4. Updated to the latest ASUS Bios
Any help would be highly appreciated

Thanks

and don't forget that it's entirely possible that the gpu has suddenly gone bad, the expiration date on gpu's can vary wildly especially if any small defects were produced during manufacturing

have you recently installed any software outside of games such as a power monitor, heat monitor, etc?

I installed NZXT software but that was after I still had the problems.

I recently sent my card to EVGA for RMA. They tested it and reapplied new thermal paste. Their testing showed no problems, but I think they just bench marked it and not tested it for audio.

Before paying for shipping once again I wanted to see if it was a problem I could fix
