Hi all,
If I could please get some of your expert (in my eyes!) opinions I would very very much appreciate it
I bought a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 560 ti 448 core graphics card (http://www.ebuyer.com/320845-gigabyte-gtx-560-ti-448-core-edition-1280mb-gddr5-dual-dvi-hdmi-gv-n560448-12i) which was delivered this morning.
It led me to believe that my PSU (Trust 570W - PW-5500) was enough to power this monster as well as my rig.
My rig is:
i5 2500k cpu
16gb Ram
60gb OCZ Vertex 2 ssd
creative xfi extreme gamer soundcard
However, when I installed it this morning, I went to do the Windows Experience test to see what the score went up to. It ran for about 30 seconds and then crashed the PC into a restart. Tried it again and it did the same at the same point.
I tried skyrim and it detected the new settings and auto set them to high. Once my savegame was loaded the PC crashed and restarted within 30 secs of playing skyrim.
A quick google search seemed to suggest that it's due to a PSU issue.
I'm down to my last £70-80 so wanted to find out the opinions of you guys, which PSU (if indeed it is a PSU issue) to get.
The two that I have had my eye on this afternoon are :
Coolermaster GX 750W PSU - http://www.ebuyer.com/200490-coolermaster-gx-750w-psu-rs750-acaae3-uk?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products
or the
OCZ MXSP Series 700W 80+ PSU Modular Single 12V Rail 135mm Fan SLI Certified - http://www.ebuyer.com/152008-ocz-mxsp-series-700w-80-psu-modular-single-12v-rail-135mm-fan-ocz700mxsp?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products
Any advice please?
Thank you in advance
