Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 (Ryzen 1600) Ram speed support?

Hi,
Considering buying 3000mhz Corsair RAM for my PC and I've looked at all the threads on the topic and can't find a tailored answer. Here is the ram: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B014UYPEXE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

The mobo is a Gigabyte AB350 gaming 3 with F23 bios. The cpu is a Ryzen 5 1600.

Would it work if I updated to the Ryzen 2000 series eg. the 2600 or 2600x?

if it is the board any bios over f 20 should work https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-1x#support-cpu and for the ram go with the qvl list to use ones that will be use by both cpu and try to get the 3200 with samsung b-die and why 32 gig .

So would I need the 2600x or is it fine with the 1600? Also crazy as it sounds some games like cities skylines max out 16 gb with all the mods! Thanks

check my specs i also do gaming but it is up to you if you want to get 32 gig of ram .
