Can you run the fan controls of Afterburner if both it and Gigabyte Control Center are running? Not sure which one takes priority over the two softwares

Specs:
  • Intel Core i7-13700F 2.1 GHz 16-Core Processor
  • Cooler AIO 240mm
  • Gigabyte B760M GAMING X AX Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
  • TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
  • Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB Video Card
  • 120 mm case fans
  • Windows 11 Home
Everything is at default clocking, left out some brand names because this is a prebuilt so not sure exactly what the brand it

You should only have one fan controller software controlling the fans at a time if possible. The fans will still likely run, but chances are its behavior will be erratic.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What is the current fan configuration?

Any RGB connections?

Also more information is necessary - what specific problem or problems are occuring?

I.e., works or does not work?

I have updated my specs.

My current fan configs are the following via MSI Afterburner and Gigabyte Control Center

The Gigabyte one comes with RGB settings for cooler, mobo, and ram.

I do not have any problems with cooling so far, I'm just wondering if the settings in Afterburner override what's set in Gigabyte. Running Red Dead Redemption 2 peaked at 69c

Ohhh, okay. I will go with Afterburner then because I have more control over the fan curve. The gigabyte one is quite wonky. However, I end up sacrificing the RGB effects if I go with that. I don't think it's a big deal though
