Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Motherboard supports fx-6300 ?

Technically it should although not stated on Gigabytes site. but the 760G chipset that board uses was NOT designed to handle the FX line, I ALWAYS suggest at least a 970 chipset board for FX CPUs.

so i can buy it and upgrade the bios ?

and if it comes without the f3 version bios can i download the update and update it easily ?

thank you very much :)

but how can i update it while there is no processor on it ?! i mean when i get it and it doesn't support the processor how can i update it without a processor on it ?!

can i install the cpu and then update the bios i mean will the cpu work but not optimally until i update the bios or it won't work at all ?

so here is the procedures,i install the processor then the os then download the bios update and flash the bios right ?

but how can i update it without os ?

the uefi/bios is the window that appears after pressing delete right ?

so do u recommend this more asus M5A78L-M LE ?

If you want fx 8 series then you are better to get the 990 series chipset MB.
ASUS M5A78L-M LE is even worst than the GA-78LMT-S2P, because LE only has the 3+1 phase count (VRMs) and the 4pin power connector. You maybe can use the fx 8 series cpu but you can't OC it at all.

i understand nothing !,oh god am ignorant

the chipset yuo are looking at (the 760G) is limited to 95W processors - so only the 8320 will work (and no overclocking, even for a 4300), and was originally a chipset for AM2+ processors which has been upgraded through the AM3+ units. It really shouldn't be used for FX series chipset, if only because of th very slow hyper transport on board; It was reasonably quick for 2007/08, but will bottleneck Vishera chips.

ti get the most out on an FX chip, use a 970, 990X, or 990FX motherboard

now i got it, it will bottleneck the fx-6300 then, but why cant i over clock them while asus mobo got turbo unlocker ?!

Thermal limits on the 760G chipset. the board maxes out on 95W chips, which is what you have stock. you might be able to go up a couple cycles at most, but no voltage changes. and little point OC in the RAM when the hypertransport is already bottlenecking the CPU (thats what talks btwen the cpu and ram).

this isn't a problem on the newer 970/990 chipsets
