by the way, this is an intel 850E chipset based 533FSB mobo

Whatever the fastest 533fsb Northwood core CPU is probably. I was using
the 8iHXP 2.1 until a month ago (it suddenly died, a voltage regulator
IC shorted near the AGP bus). I recall the BIOS reported I could use a
3.0gHz cpu. Was using F8 BIOS. I don't think it supports any of the
Prescott processors.
