Hey all,

I figured I'd run a benchmark to see if my system was still performing up to snuff 5 months in. Needless to say, I was shocked by the result: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5262851 (current) http://www.3dmark.com/fs/3692567 (past).

What in the world could have affected my performance so dramatically?! I've reinstalled drivers, cleaned up windows, ran virus scans, now I'm checking for malicious software. Yikes!

System:
Core i7 3820
P9X79 Pro
16GB DDR3 Gskill 1866mhz RAM
512GB OCZ SSD

Actually... doesn't make any sense... the only change in the specs shown there is the graphic driver (and a bit more clock...).

this is weird...., you should try another kind of test, just in case 3dmark is bugged for you somehow.

Suggestion on test? Problem is I don't have a baseline with anything else. Think furmark kicks a built in limiter with nvidia products, right?

Sigh... so it's way low in each comparable I try - should I be looking to warranty the thing?

Try unigine heaven, in that i got
