Question Gigabyte Z590 - Trying to install Windows 8, but unable to get the mouse and keyboard to work?

Hey Guys,

I am trying to install Windows 8, but I cant seem to get the mouse or keyboard to work when the install window loads up. I have tried updating the bios to the latest version (F6), as well as playing with the bios settings, but I can not seem to get it working. I have reset the bios options to the optimized settings. I made sure to use a USB 2.0 port on my PC, but had no luck.
I am open to any suggestions that I can try. I have a Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Master mobo. Any help is much appreciated.

Yeah true. Windows 8 is the worst operation system from Microsoft. I say install windows 10 or 7.

Sure, I own a product key for Win 8. Free to upgrade to Win 10 than pay for a new Win 10 product key.

You can use the same product key to activate Win 10 or 11. You can skip the Win 8 install altogether.

And remember to always make a new install drive when you upgrade your hardware. It's quite common for the older installers to be incompatible with newer hardware and cause problems with the installation or fail to install completely
