Obviously, as many know, this CPU is really bad. I know, it's not the best. I have around a 200 - 260$ budget for a new CPU currently. I want something that will work well with my GTX 1060 3GB, which is also around 230$. What would be the optimal purchase for my price range? Honestly, I'm more interested in Intel processors than AMD's, but I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance.

System Specs :

CPU ; AMD FX-8320

GPU ; NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB

Memory ; 16 GB DDR3

Motherboard ; Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

PSU ; 500W (Not sure the exact model or whatever)

If I'm honest, that processor has done me well in the past but i only ran it using a 750Ti. But, to give a good recommendation, I'd need to see the GPU v. CPU usage and beside how much more power you need to get rid the bottleneck.

This motherboard doesn't have support for intel CPUs, if I were you I'd save up for a new build but definitely salvage some of your parts. Outdated motherboard, anyways, I suggest the AMD FX 8370. Still outdated, but you're not gonna get much better with that price range+motherboard :^).
