I would recommend i5 2500k (you can overclock it with a damn good motherboard from Asus). This processor is very popular and the best one for overclocking.

If you have to choose one of the two, good graphics card, GTX 560Ti (cheaper than every thing else), GTX 580 or GTX 680 (top rated and out of stock).

consider investing in a cpu that can be overclocked....

If intel then Intel 2100 or AMD Phenom 965 on amazon for $110. Decent mobo and a more money spent on the gfx card since that will have the greatest effect on your gaming experience. Cheers.

$25? That's not enough, please tell us the entire budget for the build. The board supports 1600mhz ddr3 ram.
