Good GPUs under $30?

Hi, I currently have a R7 240 as my GPU and I have to try to game on it. Before my father bought a new PC and gave this one to me and my brother, he upgraded it to 16 GB RAM and a R7 240. It has a Phenom II X4 645. From my calculations on Thebottlenecker I could get 93% better CPU performance if I had a half decent GPU.
I only have about $30 right now, and I am very slow to save up as I do not have a job or reliable income.
I cannot sell the GPU as we need it to do what we can with it even though it is not much.

You would be hard pressed to find an R7 240 for $30 on eBay. Unfortunately, unless you find a golden deal there isn't anything better than your current GPU for $30. Save up for a GT 1030 or GTX 750 Ti or something similar that doesn't require a lot of power.

Nothing worth getting at that price. You can find used 750tis for around 50-75.

Id save if you can and go for gtx 1050 slot powered.

Recycle sell cans/ aluminium, wash cars. Maybe go to golf course find lost balls, clean them up and sell them to golfers, like 5$ for bag of twenty balls or something to help you save.

Beware of 2nd hand cards shipped from China, the gpu might not be legitimate.

I second staying away from the China GPUs on ebay. They are often counterfeit.

I do have a few components laying around that I have been trying to sell, no biters yet. Also I have a ATI X700 Pro laying around, 256 MB. If I were to sell the R7 240 would I be able to use the X700 for a week or two to even get half the FPS?

Just for browsing or playing old games yeah should be fine. Test it first and make sure you have working drivers for it or if not, relying on generic Windows drivers might be ok for general stuff to get you by

What we use it for - I edit videos on it Davinci Resolve - Record videos at 480p since it is the most I can get outta a 93% bottleneck - Play CSGO low settings 1080p - listen to music - use Discord
What my brother uses it for - Web browsing - Discord - WarFrame
What my mom uses it for - Facebook - Facebook - Facebook - And entering free giveaways through facebook.

Does your mum play facebook games? If she does tell her 1050ti will make a world of difference and maybe she can add some money. ;P
