Maybe I'm just ignorant about this, but I've never heard of Goodram. Are they aiming to be a cheaper alternative without the branding of the big SSD companies?

GOODRAM is a brand owned by the Polish memory module manufacturer Wilk Elektronik SA.

Manufacturing costs may be lower in Poland so the price can be more competitive.
