have always used Firefox to browse youtube, and i don't feel any delay. Don't have ad blocker... my "ad blocker" is ESET Internet Security, it's the one that blocks unwanted pop-ups.

Google is doing this, simply because they can.

Strongarm tactics to bully users into using one of the worst browsers in history (next to Internet Explorer, and now, Edge).
