GPU 99% when doing nothing.

when i turn my pc on its fine for a few mins then the gpu utilization shoots up to 99% and makes everything laggy as hell!

It requires me to un install the graphics card drivers and re install them (2-6 times) befor it works normally.

Iv kitted it out with fans and you name it runs cool as air.

I have chaned thermal paste you name it.

any ideas on what is wrong with my PC?!?!?!

Have you done an AV scan to rule out the possibility of something like a Bitcoin miner?

Either a driver bug or a bitcoin virus.

If his PSU is still working i think it might be a lack of the supply meaning his PSU isn't delivering enough power to his system he might need another PSU

Still no Power Supply man we need your PSU or power supply unit to check its ok for your system

Try a Spyware scan to look for a running background process.

Do you have another GPU to try in the system? Sometimes it can be cheaper to get a $20 GPU as a diagnostic test than bringing the system in for service.

yeah I think im going to have to get a chap one to see whats up! best case its my gpu worst case (I dont even want to think about that)

Worst case is that it is the motherboard, and well, than it kind of becomes a mandatory upgrade.

yeah ran there was a few errors got them sorted out backing up reg files etc.. the real test is when i restart the pc if i need to do the drivers again as usual, then it will of all been in vein
