Do you use any software that can change your fan speed, for example MSI Afterburner ,fan control, or something like that, if you cant find out the main reason, I suggest you download the MSI Afterburner and make your own fan curve settings.
It's very hard to explain it cause I'm not that good in English, but you can do some research by googling it or watching people do it on YouTube, there will be a lot of tutorial, and after you understand how the software works you will be happy and will tweak it more to improve or do some experiment.

Yes, I know about MSI Afterburn but why I should use afterburn? before the ram upgrade it was running well on heavy loads GPU fan was running at full speed, before temp was 82 degrees and stable now it is going above 85

You should use MSI afterburner since your Gcard temp is hot and you have no idea about the causes of that, I'm suggesting a fix of fan curve, since the problem you have does not currently have a solution for the time being, since all the information given by you and known is that the fan speed of your Gcard doesn't work due to the changing of RAM, if you don't wanna use it for the time being go ahead, I'm just worried about the card that is running hot, there's a possibilities that the card can fail due to dry solder with high amount of heat.

If you don't want a temporary fix using MSI Afterburner go ahead I'm not forcing you, using the software is a million times better than having a Gcard that runs 85 degree on idle.
