[SOLVED] gpu fan stopping, starting, stopping, starting...etc... HELP

My new Zotac 1070ti's second fan (one furthest from connection to motherboard) ramps up to speed, stalls out, then spins back up. While the gpu didnt heat up too much under load it did rattle almost constantly due to the fan. Any solutions?

I would exchange it with the retailer you bought it from or send it for warranty repair.

Sadly I bought it over a year ago and have only recently been able to test it. Not to mention while it was unused when I got it, it is second hand.

Figured it out! Turns out the fan was just wearing out in a weird way. After some tinkering and lubricating, all is fine. Although I may try and replace the fan soon.
