So I just built a PC. The graphics card fans spin and stay on while the PC is being used. Only integrated graphics show a display and allow me to successfully use Windows. However, I get no display when the same cable is plugged into the GPU.
The GPU doesn't show up in the task manager, and I can't find any info about it in the bios.
I cant even install drivers directly from nvidia website because it says no nvidia graphics is installed in the computer.
GPU seems to be properly installed; all cables seem properly installed.
I tried setting the primary display in BIOS to PCIE, but after saving and exiting it resets back to auto and goes back to using integrated graphics.
Ram is set to A1 & B2
Specs:
Asus P8Z77-V LE Plus
Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super
Intel I7 2600K
650W MSI 80+ Bronze Power Supply'
16 GB, 1600 MHz, Patriot Signature RAM 2x8
Any help would be much appreciated! I just made this PC and haven't installed drivers yet, but with all the PCs I've built, I've never had this issue.
