you dont really buy a gpu based on a cpu. You buy a gpu based on what games you want to play and at what settings. A good gpu for a 6300 could be a 380x or a gtx960 or 970 or amd 390 or 380.

FX6300 & GTX 970 would be a superb pair for gaming and day to day tasks.

The FX 6300 will bottleneck anything above a R9 380 (probably will even bottleneck the 380 a bit)

It's such an old processor that cannot keep up with all the new GPU's. An i3 beats it out in pretty much every game.

It would bottleneck but not terribly. The 6300 can also take a decent overclock so a 970 or 960 would be a solid choice or even a 380 or 380x. Can't go wrong with any of those. The 6300 is old yes but still capable.
