I recently built me a new rig with consist of the following:

Processor Intel Core i7-3930K (Sandy Bridge-E): 3.2 GHz Base, 3.8 GHz Maximum Turbo Boost, 12 MB Shared L3 Cache

Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 6870 2Gb

Motherboard: Asrock x79 Extreme 9

Memory: 16Gb DDR3-1600 4x4Gb- Dual Channel Kit ( have to check brand forgot ATM)

Storage Drive: Western Digital 500Gb , 7200 RPM Hard Drive

Case: Antec 600 Quiet Case - Black (not that quiet w/ Ati Radeon GPU fan LMAO)

Power: Antec 850 Watt PSU (w/ 2x6 Pin PCIe 2.0 Connectors)

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo heatsink W/ Fan

I did not order a optical drive or large storage drive with this as I was going to swap the blueray DVD drive from anothe computer (which I did the green light comes on but the door doesnt open and when manualy opened and closed the drie will not read any disk, worked fine in the last setup it was in?? have no clue why answer is greatly appreicated on this topic.) as for the larger storage i was think a 128 Gb SSD or larger with the 500Gb hardriv will be more then enough fr me as I already have a external 500Gb storage drive. Please suggest any good all around dvd/blueray burner player combos under $150 for this setup, I want tot burn and play every type of format possible. thanks again!!!

P.S
I don't intend to run a eyefinity just yet as I have a Samsung 55" 720p Plasma I use for a monitor, Thinking about getting 2 mor 55" samsungs for eyefinity setup but would have to find a GPU that lets me run 3 HDMI connectors for eyefinity setup instead of miniHDMI and VGA. My Samsung is a 2011 model and does not have VGA or DVI just 2 HDMI inputs.

Budget no issue? Performance first, before anything else? 2 Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3Gb in crossfire x would be the best:

Oh yes if you're going with this config, I think you need to upgrade your PSU because it has only 2 6-pin PCI-E connector. You need 2 8's and 2 6's for this. I recommend going with this:

I also recommend you to get an SSD because it will make your PC load data faster. I recommend the Crucial M4 128GB:

Believe it or not I can get 2 more Samsung 55 inch 720p plasmas for cheaper then 2 of any of the grphics cards in the poll. I think I paid $476 out the door at walmart corruna rd. in flint, michigan. Hell 60" 1080 LCD are going for $999 and up and with some of the uilds you see on here that is a very small price to pay to have THE BIGGEST Eyefinity display setup up out. Imagine running 3 60" samsung 1080 LED's in Eyefinity!!! you will need a Asrock Extreme 11 with 4 AMD RADEON HD GHz series 7990 6GB. Thats damn near $3600 in Graphics cards. you could get 2 80" lcds for that price forget computer monitors. youll hve better resolution in a smaller size but it would be fun to spnd the money on something like that king game room stuff
