So I've been using this GPU for almost a year and 6 months now with no problems whatsoever but recently after opening Speccy, I've noticed that the description shows that my GPU's memory is 4 GB RAM and not 8 GB RAM, and the ram too which is 2x "HyperX Fury 8GB RGB 3200 MHz DDR4 Memory"
Is this a program fault or am I actually not using the other half of my VRAM because of some fault in the GPU?
I'm a hardcore PC user and for every game, I enter and I immediately open the setting and set everything to ultra, why? after finally getting a powerful GPU I do it because I can I guess, but that isn't working anymore.
I've sensed that recently for some unknown reason I've been getting HUGE FPS drops on some games that I used to run smoothly(IE: New world, WOW, rdr2). my best guess is that the GPU suddenly switched from 8gb to 4gb and everything got fked, or just the fact that i haven't cleaned the PC since getting the GPU, and it's all dusty inside(which wouldn't explain the memory issue).

any thoughts?
