Question GPU logo light shuts off, screen goes black and fans run at full speed

I've been having this problem for the past couple of months where the "GTX" light will shut off, my monitor goes black, and my case fans start spinning very fast. Sound still works. I have tired to do a fresh install on my drivers but this problem still happens. Sometimes it happens multiple times in a row, other times only once a week.

Any thoughts on what this could be?

Try: Win + Ctrl + Shift + B combination. This resets GPU drivers. And would only work if issue is with GPU drivers. Though, if issue is with hardware, component replacement would be in order.
