I wold return that card and get something much much lower end for watching videos. For "workstation business" what is that exactly?

If you want to keep that higher end card for some reason, you would want to replace the power supply to one with the correct power connectors or you risk damage to the card and having the system crash.
You'll need to plug both connectors to power & run the card... with only one in.. you won't be fully powering the card.. hence no gaming or graphics processing can be done... including any workstation workloads that requires graphics processing (Video editing, 3D model editing such as AutoCad, etc).

Even though you won't be fully powering the card, it will run in a low power state and still give you a display output... but you won't be able to game or actually "use" the card for it's intended purpose.

Quick Edit; even though you won't be fully powering the card, it will run in a low power state and still give you a display output... but you won't be able to game or actually "use" the card for it's intended purpose.
So I can still use it? just no gaming? etc will it harm the card in any way?

I edited my reply as you replied lol...

Here it is...

TLDR: It's not recommended, you're better off using your integrated graphics or another GPU that can be powered by a single PCI-E power connector... Just having it plugged in but unpowered doesn't give you any benefits and introduces some risks into the equation...
