GPU Price Drop

Im looking to buy either a GTX 1080 or the GTX 1070 ti. I will probably end up going with the 1080, I wanted to know if anyone is expecting the price of these cards to drop when the new cards are released. I heard that there was rumors about the release by the end of July - early Aug. Is it a good time to purchase a gpu right now?

The First link comes with a power supply so I thought it was a decent deal (correct me if im wrong please). Id assume this deal ends by the time the new cards are released but If anyone knows that they will be significantly cheaper I will definitely wait.

I guess no one really knows but I hope that the 11 series wont be more expensive than the current prices. I really dont want to buy a $700-$800 card even though its tempting lol.

As long as they are priced at MSRP then there shouldn't be a issue. If you don't currently have a GPU then anything, be it 10XX or 11XX I'm sure would be fine for your system, I would base whichever model on your current specs and monitor.
