GPU shutdown while playing game! :(

k so the problem is
I got Gigabyte R9 270 OC edition in my Dell precision T3500 with no extra rear fans installed

Problem is i was playing AC 2 fully maxed out and 2x MSAA with my Case Closed
After playing a while display goes off and i kept hearing the sound of the game as i opened the case i saw my GPU fans were off and GPU was heating up
as my case was closed and i thought it was because of no good air ventilation

i thought my gpu just turned off

after a while i tried starting my pc 2 3 times it didn't gave me any display
but a few times my GPU fans started and stopped
and after that i am using my GPU right now with normal temps and case opened

Temperatures With GPU Stress Tests:

Furmark test with case closed 90+ degree
Case opened 75 max

Sounds like it's overheating :O

update:
i started Furmark test 1920x1080 2x MSAA
temp 40 degree and display gone GPU was working and fans were working too..

Do you run into the issues you're mentioning when it's at 40C?

yep and right now i just started windows and GPU goes down but fans were working

i'vs got a precision T3500 with and 525Watt 80+ PSU
right now i just changed my slot and now trying

I think that either the fans are giving up or the card has accumulated quite a bit of dust. Did you try to clean it thoroughly? Even if the case seems clean you never know what the fans have cought.

The issue was my molex Connector, it's 12v yellow wire was burnt inside the connector and because of that my GPU was not able to draw some power!

I was going to say it was a PSU issue and you should check it but I was too late 🙁 You should at least edit this to be solved or something so that people should know it's already resolved. Have fun
