Hi guys,
I noticed that my GPU (Gigabyte Windforce 2080 OC 8G) started producing weird buzzing noise when the load is above 40%.
This is not fans 100% since I start even before the fans start spinning, as the curve boots them up at a specific temperature.
So here's an algorithm of what I did to figure this out:
Boot up Witcher 3, open the map, the load is 20-30%. The card is silent.
As soon as I press "M" to get back to the game, GPU load goes up to around 40-60%, buzz appears immediately.
Click on "M" to open the map again, nose disappeared momentarily. And so on.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.
I recently uploaded my cooling from Cryorig Universal R1 (2x140mm fans) to Arctic Liquid Freezer ii A-RGB 360 (3x120mm fans + RGB) and my case from Fractal Design Define C (3x120mm fans) to BeQuiet! Pure Base 500DX (3x140mm fans+RGB)
Since I didn't notice any noise of that kind before I started suspecting that it could be caused by my PCU not keeping up with the power requirements. Is that possible?
I tried turning off the case fans and all RGB completely though and it didn't make any change.
My PSU is 750W Seasonic.
Thank you!
